Friendships Across Differences With True Story Theatre
In this improvisational storytelling theatre event, we will explore what's in the way of connecting across societal differences (of age, gender, ability, class, race, religion, etc.)...and the rewards of when we succeed.
During the 75 minute performance, 6-12 audience members take the risk to tell of important moments from their lives. Four actors and a musician instantly capture the essence of each story through drama, movement, and song.
A True Story Theater performance is more than just entertainment. Audience members laugh, cry, get insights about their life, and feel an expanded sense of community. You can share a moment from your life and see it performed, or just come to watch.
Admission: $15 in advance (call (603) 924-4555. $20 at door. $25 Supporter. $10 for students and the under-employed. To learn more about the troupe, visit truestorytheatre.com.
