Project Shakespeare Presents: Quilters, A Musical

Surrounded by our stunning exhibit of quilts by African American artists, Project Shakespeare performers (ages 5-18) perform the acclaimed musical about seven women facing frontier life. 2019 marks the centennial of Pete Seeger's birth! The Mariposa community will celebrate Seeger's centennial with a participatory event with special guest Nora Guthrie (daughter of Woody Guthrie). The afternoon will lead off with a Seeger/Guthrie sing-in led by four terrific local songleaders: Amy Conley, Steve Schuch, Mike Bradley and David Lord.
